![]() Health 101 performs dozens of functions and computations. How? Computation of specific equations always follows the equation presented in the same page of the calculator panel. For example, the Ideal Body Weight Calculator computes the IBW based on the equation presented in the same page. Variables (parameters) and units are specified. If different units are entered, first the program converts the units to the units used in the equation and then computes the result. Rounding Health 101 is designed to round off decimals to a number that makes sense clinically (usually 0, 1 or 2 decimals). Negative numbers and Off-limits calculations In general, numbers must be positive numbers (greater than 0) unless otherwise stated. Results default to 0 (or blank) when inputs/outputs are off-limits. Inputs/Outputs Click the CALCULATE and RESET buttons Once all the input fields and data has been entered, click on the Calculate button to obtain an Output result. Remember to click the calculate button after making changes to the inputs to obtain a correct result. To clear off all the inputs and reset the calculator panel click on the RESET button. Notice that leaving a page will erase the input data already captured. ![]()
