SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
To run Health 101 you need:
Computer: IBM compatible PC.
Processor: 400 MHz
RAM: 64 MB of RAM.
Hard Disk Space required: 6 MB.
Mouse or equivalent pointing device.
Keyboard.
CD-ROM Drive.
Display: VGA or higher-resolution video adapter.
(Super VGA, 256-color recommended).
Operating System: Microsoft Windows® 95/98/00/Me/XP.
WWW Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer® 5.5 or later.
(5.5 is a must, 6.0 highly recommended) check your version.
Adobe® Acrobat® Reader 5.0 or later, to view pdf files

SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
Configuration for optimal performance
(Operating System and Browser), follow the steps:
JAVASCRIPT
The Browser must be able to interpret Javascript.
Make sure Javascript is on and enabled, check your browser
for detailed instructions. (In general Javascript is already "on" on Microsoft
Internet Explorer 5.0/later, so unless there is something not working, continue to next step).
MONITOR
Make sure that your monitor is set to 800 by 600 pixels
and High Color (24 bit, 32 bit).
On Windows 95/98/Me/XP click Start, select Settings, choose
Control Panel, double click on Display and choose
Settings. Proceed to adjust your Desktop area to
800 by 600 pixels, and your Color Palette to High
Color (24 or 32 bits) click OK.
(Tip: If you have your monitor at a different setting, make sure the size of the browser is 800 by 600)
FONTS
The browser Font size should be set to medium.
On Explorer (5.0/later), from the View Menu choose
Fonts, then choose medium.
Other Settings
Other settings for optimal performance.
BROWSER
On Explorer (5.0/later), from the View Menu choose
Internet Options, then choose Advanced. Under Browsing,
underline links choose never.
Under Toolbar choose small icons.
Under View menu choose Toolbar, then uncheck Text Labels (Explorer 4.0).
Under View menu choose Toolbars, then select Customize.
Text options: select No text labels. Icon options: select Small icons.
WINDOWS 95/98/Me/XP
To set the font size, colors and screen area click on the task bar, under Settings choose
Control Panel, double click on the Display icon.
On the Appearance Tab: a) Choose Windows standard under Scheme and b) Select
desktop under Item.
On the Settings Tab: a) Choose Colors (high color 16/32 bit). 2) Select 800 X 600 under Screen
area. c) Under Font size select normal fonts (Normal size 96 dpi). In WindowsXP on the Settings Tab,
click on Advanced. Under General, choose Font Size: Normal (96 dpi).

PRINT
For best results, set the margins of the page to 0.25" (all but the left at 0.5''). From the Browser's File menu, select
Page Setup. In the Page Setup Dialog Box empty the Header and Footer fields and set the
margins to 0.25". See also Printing in the Trouble
section.
Browser Version
Check your Browser's Version.
On Explorer (5.0/later), from the Help Menu choose About
Internet Explorer, a dialog box appears with the version number.
NOTE: Health 101 is optimized to
run on Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0/later. We recommend the use of MSIE 6.0
or later on a windows XP environment. ScyMed will continue testing
the program in different platforms and browsers.
UNINSTALLING
Remove ScyMed® Health 101
using the Add/Remove Programs icon in the Control Panel.
Other methods (for example, deleting directories or files) can cause
system instabilities or problems with future installation of this product.
