  • Apply standard force (with the hammer).

  • Estimate Speed and Strength (contraction/relaxation).

  • Reflex asymmetry has more significance than the absolute activity of the Reflex.

  • Clonus: persistent involuntary flexion and extension of the joint under extension or flexion pressure.

  • Reinforcement maneuver: pulling against the interlocked finger or clenching the cheeks.
